Paper Boat

Using the materials provided create a boat that floats in a container of water while being able to take on weight without sinking. You may not anchor to the container in anyway. You must float for 5 seconds before the weight is incremented. When any part of your vessel touches the bottom or any weights touch the bottom – you are considered sunk.

Materials: ½ piece of transparency paper, 24” of masking tape, 5 pieces of 8½” by 11” paper, and scissors
