Lemon Dilemma
Lemon sales have always been decent, however, over the last 10 years is seems that the market has plateaued. The industry recently did some research and discovered that the sales don’t seems to grow over a certain amount because to the consumer lemons are considered as a condiment and are bought to accompany another food or beverage and is not the main dish. Consider ways the lemon industry can get the average consumer to pick a bag of 15-20 lemons rather than the 2- 5 lemons they current purchase. Can it be accomplished through packaging? Or through marketing gimmicks? Perhaps advertising? Consider ALL possibilities.
